John Tait and Mary Bryden - Our Direct Ancestors - my generation’s g g g g g g g grandparents

John Tait was born circa 1711 in Ettrick, south west of Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. He married Mary Bryden in 1735 in Ettrick. Mary was born circa 1713, also in Ettrick. These are the earliest Tait’s I have been able to find to date.

John and Mary’s son, Adam Tait was born during 1742 in Roundstonefoot, in the Scottish Borders. He married Ann Welsh on the 5th of April, 1767 in Moffat, Dumfries.
